Wilfred

        This show is almost four years old but I never saw it until two days ago and now I have seen every episode. Wilfred is on FX and I have seen the promos for it many of times but never gave it a shot because I thought the idea of a guy in a dog suit was silly and over the top. Wilfred is much more than that.
    The show is a dark twisted comedy that starts in the first episode where Elijah Wood tries to kill himself by over dosing on his anti-depression medication. He doesn't die but starts to see Wilfred. Wilfred is played by Jason Gann an Australian actor who is just awesome in this role.The show itself is closer to Donnie Darko than you would think. Wilfred is a part of Ryan (Elijah Wood) personality and it is written to show you that.

Wilfred is on Netflix now and I would highly recommend it. The episodes are just 21 minutes long and are filled with a dark comedy twists on life lessons. They also poke fun at the fact that Wilfred is still just a dog and that makes it one of the funniest shows I have seen in years. I laughed so hard at this show, I would say its the funniest show on television since The Chappelle's show.
